About Our School

Sri Narasimha Government High School, Palaparru, has a rich legacy of providing quality education since its inception in 1940. It began as Sri Narasimha Sanskrit Hindi School and transitioned to General Education in 1950 with government-aided high school status.

Our Journey

• 1940: Established as Sri Narasimha Sanskrit Hindi School.
• 1950: Transitioned to General Education with government aid.
• 1956: Upgraded to a full-fledged high school (6th to SSLC).
• 1967: Teachers and staff salaries started getting credited directly to their bank accounts instead of the management account.
• 2004 Onwards: No new teacher appointments or promotions took place. The rise of English medium private institutions, migration, and family planning policies led to a gradual decline in student enrollment.
• 2012: Under the leadership of the late Nangineni Chowdary Babu Garu, the school committee unanimously decided to hand over the school to the government. Despite financial hurdles, they managed to keep the school running for a decade.
• 2022: After continuous efforts, the government officially took over the school under G.O.No.99, dated 01-06-2022, renaming it Sri Narasimha Government High School.

Government Land Allotment

• In 1956, as per the school committee's request, the government allotted 3.30 acres of land through G.O.No.1301, dated 03-07-1956.
• The school has well-constructed buildings, a playground, and infrastructure for 6th to SSLC students.
